How to submit a listing
Did you know you can submit your own events, artists, organizations, venues, and opportunities on ArtsKCGo for free?
How it works
ArtsKCGo is a self-service platform—users create an account and have full control over what’s included in their content. Submitted content is reviewed for approval by an ArtsKC staff member prior to publishing to the public website.

ArtsKCGo supports content from Jackson, Cass, Clay, Douglas, Johnson, Platte, and Wyandotte counties.
All events must be open to the public, with or without a fee. Invitation/member-only events will not be accepted.
When to submit
We recommend submitting content 30 days prior to the event. Please allow up to 10 business days for review and approval.
Sponsored content
We hope to launch sponsored content within our site in a next phase of development. Interested in participating as a sponsor at that time? Let us know at development@artskc.org

GUIDELINES
An event listing is a great way to promote your event to the region.
Ensure the event fits well in one of the primary categories: music, visual art, performance, program, or community. Within each event category, there are several sub- categories to help people find a specific type of event.
ArtsKCGo does not accept political events, including rallies or fundraisers, religious or worship events that assume religious or spiritual beliefs of the audience, happy hours, networking, recruiting, or business-building events.
ArtsKCGo supports submitting multiple events at once with our CSV template available from the account dashboard.
Use organization and venue pages to showcase all the events tied to a specific space or group.
The following entities are accepted: art, art education, dance, education, festival, film, gallery, city municipalities, literary, library, museum, music, non-profit, performing arts center, or theater.
The following are not accepted: political, activist, or religious organizations; retail business or merchandising organizations whose primary business does not promote the sale or development of art or performance, networking or chamber organizations; K-12/ Primary schools or school districts (university arts departments are accepted).
An artist listing is a great way to promote your work to the region.
The person must be at least 18 years old and included in one of the following categories: art education, community-based art, dance, film, literary, multi- disciplinary, music, performance art, theater, or visual.
The profile must include a primary image, 6 work samples, an artist bio, contact information, and external links to online presence (website or social media).
An opportunity listing allows creatives across disciplines to find open calls, auditions, collaborations, and more.
This includes: audition, call to artists, collaboration, commissioned work, competition, grant application, job or internship, performance call, professional development, residency, volunteer, studio or live/work space.
Any courses, classes, or workshops should be listed as an event.
