Beginner square dance lessons are starting on September 14, 2026.  This is a 16-week series of dances – the 1st two are free and after that they cost $5 per evening. These dances are for beginners – just show up as you are and we will teach you everything you need to know.  You’ll need to come to one of the first three dances on Sept 14th, 21st, or 28th, as we will be teaching the basics.  After that, you’ll want to come to as many dances as you can because we’ll teach a few more steps at each dance.  And besides, they are so fun you will not want to miss a single one!  We are an inclusive club and welcome everyone.  Children ages 8-17 are free when accompanied by an adult.

There are over a dozen square dance clubs in the KC Metro Area and after you complete this dance series, you can dance at any of them!  So join us!  Find your new community at Heartland Squares!
