Kurve Ball is back at Greenwood Social Hall for its second year.

If you’ve never been to Greenwood or aren’t familiar with Kurve Ball, think of it as a gathering around dance, movement, and original work by Kansas City choreographers and performers.

Over two nights, you’ll see a collection of short dance works, each with its own style, story, and energy. Some are intimate and expressive. Others are playful, unexpected, or a little outside the lines. The performances are presented in Greenwood’s small, intimate listening-room-turned-performance-space, with thoughtful lighting and professional photo and video capturing the work.

But Kurve Ball isn’t just about watching dance. The weekend also includes a movement workshop open to all levels and a Sunday improv jam where anyone can join in. You don’t have to be a dancer to participate. You can come curious, come watch, come move, or simply share the space.
