My artistic vision is to create immersive visual experiences that highlight the emotional and behavioral realities of individuals living with rare conditions, particularly Smith-Magenis Syndrome. I aim to translate complex human experiences into bold, large-scale pieces that connect viewers emotionally and spark meaningful dialogue. I draw inspiration from personal experiences, the stories of individuals living with rare diseases, and the resilience of communities navigating developmental challenges. Artists who explore color, texture, and storytelling—such as Kara Walker and Yinka Shonibare—inform my approach, as does the broader movement of socially-engaged and advocacy-centered art. My work is also influenced by scientific imagery, particularly DNA patterns, which I incorporate to represent individuality and connection.
