Green Shoebox Band is a group of musician friends that enjoy sharing a wide variety of music from the 60s through the 2000s. Get ready for a musical adventure with the Green Shoebox Band! Our group delivers familiar tunes with a fresh twist, ensuring every listener experiences the unexpected and leaves dancing and smiling. Dubbed a “musical rollercoaster” by fans, we pride ourselves on offering something different yet utterly enjoyable. Our motto, “Decades of music. Outside the box.” perfectly encapsulates our approach. Our live performances have included events for the communities of Olathe, Overland Park, Lenexa, Merriam, Eudora, Independence, Old Shawnee Days, Wellsville Days, Leavenworth County and many popular music venues and corporate/private events around the Kansas City area. The opportunity to choose VIP pre-shows at Starlight Theater before acts such as the Doobie Brothers (2023) and James Taylor (2024), and sold out shows at Aztec Shawnee Theater, are annual highlights.
