Acoustic Vibes with Eclectic, Electric Soul.

“With a prodigious timbre and wickedly dynamic vocal control, Erica McKenzie has an unprecedented, timeless deliverance.”

#EOWB’s greatest joy is to improvise interpretations of crowd-pleasing favorites. Her originals captivate with clever, catchy, deep and relatable lyrics.

Countless comparisons to the stylings of Adele, Norah Jones, Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Stevie Nicks, Eva Cassidy… If Adele and Ed Sheeran had an American baby that was the female version of Chris Stapleton and that child grew up listening to every genre of music there ever was… that might just be Erica. At a live show, you’ll hear hints of Pop, Rock, Country, R&B, Folk and Jazz all melding together to form her own Contemporary Indie Pop Soul style. Erica’s voice will wrap you in a fuzzy blanket of tenderness and then smack you with resolute power.

Averaging over 150 performances annually, Erica has paved her own way in Kansas City’s music scene and is highly sought-after to play festivals, special occasions, clubs, wineries, corporate events… you name it. With many of her favorite venues booked on the regular, if you find yourself in the area, chances are there’s a great local spot to go get you some #EOWB.
