Diana Rendell is a local artist who has lived in the Lee’s Summit area for a little over six years. She and her husband and three children moved to the Midwest for work, and have enjoyed the unique experience living here affords. Diana’s work is centrally focused on the human experience, exploring the way choice influences life. Usually her work is figurative; she uses sculpture and painting to communicate her ideas. This show however, is expanding on the idea of the fundamentals of the human experience by using color, texture, rhythm and movement to encourage feelings and emotions in the viewer. With these abstract expressions, Diana is seeking to connect artist and viewer in an emotive balance.
