I play the piano and the guitar.  My first instrument was the guitar which I started when I was young. Later, in college I had some studies in piano. I graduated with honors from Berklee College of Music. I later earned a Master’s degree in Theory and Composition from the University of Northern Colorado. While at UNC I received a Special Citation for Outstanding Musicianship issued by the International Association for Jazz Education for one of my performances on guitar at the UNC/Greeley Jazz Festival. My music could be described as being influenced by jazz, classical, funk and pop styles. My music relies heavily on improvisation.
