Carol Waller is a Kansas City based visual artist painter, and landscape photographer, capturing the spirit of Kansas City in color and light. Focusing on the beauty of scenic parks, iconic landmarks and hidden gems, her works are designed with intentional presentation and creative vision.

With studies in acrylic and watercolor painting at the Kansas City Art Institute, and private lessons in multiple art mediums, Carol brings both skill and passion to her work. By bringing together elements of realism and imagination, the viewer is drawn into a space that feels both familiar and magical.

While working as a real estate photographer, Carol developed a deeper appreciation for the beauty of aesthetic design. She has extensive hands-on experience behind the camera with interests in real estate, landscape, and travel photography. Her photos highlight familiar places with stronger contrasts and layered tones, causing details to have more clarity. The ordinary reveals itself as extraordinary, as if viewed through the lens of memory and imagination.

Commissioned works, include permanent features a local business office, juried features in hospital corridors, coffee shops and magazines. Carol was chosen as a juried artist in the 2022 Parade of Hearts project and is in the application process for the 2026 Parade of Hearts project.
