Anna Marten is a multimedia illustrator who specializes in murals and sign making. Her professional practice has incorporated hand-painted signs, murals, and displays into Kansas City businesses for over a decade. She continues to expand her creative practice through exploration at the Bunker Center For The Arts.

She was part of the inaugural artist cohort at Englewood Arts; a grassroots art center in Independence, Missouri. Residency projects often centered around social impact. They include public art, youth art classes, and a hand-lettering workshop.

Anna also designed and led the completion of a large-scale community mural in collaboration with Englewood Arts, H&R Block volunteers, and Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity. It has since served as a vibrant backdrop for local music and LGBTQI+ Pride events.
