My art, based on many of my personal travels, is a way for me to share the joy of travel and capture the uniqueness of different parts of the world. I create textured, impressionistic paintings and illustrated works with a nostalgic and joyful color palette.

For me, traveling and exploring unfamiliar places is a way of rediscovering of sense of wonder: of beauty, of perspective, and of the small details that shape how people live.  Every time I take a trip, I come back with something I didn’t have before, whether that’s a habit, a new perspective or idea about something, or a new friend in a different part of the world. Through my art, I aim to share these memories, perspectives, and emotions that make travel so meaningful, and to evoke a sense of curiosity and wonder about the world.
